Mandarin Training Tool

This is not a real training tool. The main purpose of this program is to demonstrate the use of AlphaComposite class that implements the Composite interface to display partly transparent images.

Whiteboard Animation

This program draws a B/W image on the screen. To mimic drawing on a whiteboard, it utilizes Thread class so that different parts of the image are shown in an orderly manner, based on the input from the user. Two BufferedImage objects are used here, one for the image and the other for the whiteboard marker.

Verb Memorizer

This is just a simple program to memorize French verbs. It utilizes the System.currentTimeMillis() method to determine the verb to be displayed. User input is also taken into account. Verbs that are answered wrong by the user will appear more often.
